ENGINEERED SYSTEMS

The Oracle Exadata platform supports complex, heavy workloads both on-prem and in the cloud and allows businesses to store and collect vast amounts of valuable information with industry-best capabilities. Infolob can assist with maximizing Exadata performance and help you get the best value on your Exadata investment.

MACHINE OVERVIEW

Oracle Exadata is a computing and storage system used for running database programs. It is most effective with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) programs such as Oracle E-business Suite, PeopleSoft, and SAP, data warehousing, and business intelligence. Additionally, the addition of Intel Optane Persistent memory further optimizes performance of OLTP applications. Exadata is capable of running your current, as is, database workload more efficiently than any other system available in the marketplace. With proper implementation and tuning, improvements of orders of magnitude are achieved, making it a worthwhile investment for many businesses.

Exadata has both on-prem and public/private cloud availability, can run smart scans up to thousands of times faster than other platforms, is relatively easy to implement, and has greatly improved support from Oracle.

It features a modern cloud-based architecture with scale-out high-performance database servers, scale-out intelligent storage servers with state-of-the-art PCI flash, Intel Optane Persistent Memory, and an ultra-fast ROCE(100Gb) internal fabric that connects all servers and storage.

Infolob has assisted in dozens of businesses with Exadata implementation, tuning, and patching services. We provide performance assessments and detailed instructions on how to increase efficiency and speed.

HOW WE CAN HELP

It is common for businesses to not receive the maximum ROI from their Exadata simply because they are unable to understand how to effectively run it. That is what we are here for. Infolob’s CTO, Tim Fox, and his highly skilled team, know every inch of the Exadata platform and have successfully helped dozens of clients optimize theirs. Infolob provides sizing, implementation, tuning and patching, and managed services for Exadata, along with a two-week Exadata performance evaluation that assesses database configuration, smart scan utilization, flash cache configuration and utilization, I/O resource manager configuration and utilization, and Exadata compression utilization. We provide you with a detailed document highlighting how to fix associated issues. Since we invest in all the products we do work on, our expert consultants can easily troubleshoot any problems standing in your way.
